VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL FOR 2019
The Church of Christ at Manhattan Heights will have a VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL on Wednesday, 5/29/19 through Saturday, 6/1/19.
The theme is “MAROONED: STEADY FAITH ON SHIFTING SANDS”.
It will start at 7:00PM on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday nights and at 9:00AM on Saturday morning.
On Wednesday night, we’ll have Lesson One (Challenge To See) – “ELIJAH IN THE PRESENCE OF GOD” – 1 KINGS 19:1-18.
On Thursday night, we’ll have Lesson Two (Challenge To Know) – “KING JOSIAH AND THE LOST SCROLL” – 2 Chronicles 34:1-33.
On Friday night, we’ll have Lesson Three (Challenge To Trust) – “JEHOSHAPHAT TRUSTS IN GOD” – 2 Chronicles 20:1-24.
For the 1st session on Saturday morning, we’ll have Lesson Four (Challenge To Obey) – “JONAH RUNS FROM GOD” – Jonah 1:1 – 3:5.
And for 2nd session on Saturday, we’ll have Lesson Five (Challenge To Believe) – “THOMAS DOUBTS JESUS’ RESURRECTION” – John 20:24-29.
We’ll have classes for every age, from 2 & 3 years old to Adults.
Everyone is invited! We’ll have refreshments every night and hot dogs on Saturday. The church van will pick up children in the neighborhood.

The Church of Christ at Manhattan Heights is hosting the Fifth Sunday Fellowship on March 31, 2019.
The theme for this fellowship is “GOD IS ABLE TO ____”. The primary scripture for this meeting is taken from Ephesians 3:20 – “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,” (KJV).
We pray that you will attend and bring a guest with you. We will have a fellowship meal after the morning worship.
Afternoon worship will begin between 1:30PM and 2:00PM.

God’s Inspired Word, Only, has the correct answer to the question, “Who Is Saved?”
Must Have Faith in God:
(Hebrews 11:6) – “BUT WITHOUT FAITH IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO PLEASE HIM: FOR HE THAT COMETH TO GOD MUST BELIEVE THAT HE IS, AND THAT HE IS A REWARDER OF THEM THAT DILIGENTLY SEEK HIM.”
Please note: Faith is obtained by hearing God’s Word, only:
(Romans 10:17) “SO THEN FAITH COMETH BY HEARING, AND HEARING BY THE WORD OF GOD.”
Must Believe In Christ:
(John 8:24) “I SAID THEREFORE UNTO YOU, THAT YE SHALL DIE IN YOUR SINS: FOR IF YE BELIEVE NOT THAT I AM HE, YE SHALL DIE IN YOUR SINS.”
